Social participation by phone
The Chat-Net (Plaudernetz) offers quick help in moments of loneliness: just call and connect with other people.
The Chat-Net connects old and young, people from the city and the countryside, men and women, people with different world views – ensuring that we stay in conversation with each other and (re-)cultivate mutual understanding.
The Chat-Net is a project of Caritas Vienna. Unfortunately, the offer is currently available in Austria only. We are working to change this!
PROJECT AIMS
The CHAJA Foundation aims to support the continuing development of this offer in order to make the Chat-Net available in Germany, too. This way, we can promote health in the area of participation and social connection.
